Recitals and Performances in Monrovia
At Monrovia Music Academy, we organize two recitals and student concerts each year: a Summer Performance in late June and a Winter performance in January, typically held at the Boston Court Pasadena. Our students and their families love these events!
Participating in our Recitals is Optional
Participating in these concerts helps students build confidence and stay motivated to practice. It’s normal to feel a bit nervous, especially before the first performance, but we ensure everyone is well-prepared and supported. Our goal is to create positive, encouraging experiences, with plenty of staff on hand to assist.

Monrovia Music Academy makes music lessons as accessible as possible with flexible month-to-month lesson arrangements. We never require long-term performance commitments–all participants can join on a month-to-month basis, allowing freedom to participate in recitals or focus on lessons as desired.

Professional Photography to Document Your Performance Journey
What better way to commemorate and celebrate your concert achievements than through professional images? Each year, we arrange a complimentary photo session for active students. This special shoot allows musicians to pose with their instruments in performance attire, creating treasured keepsakes of their stage experiences.
