ANIMAL ADVENTURES
IN MUSIC
Music Introductory Classes for 3-6 year olds in Monrovia, CA
CALL OR TEXT
Animal Adventures in Music offers a private music lesson program designed for children ages 3-6, which provides a fun and engaging way to learn music. Unlike other music lessons in Monrovia, this program offers a comprehensive curriculum that covers topics ranging from rhythm to note reading to instrument introduction and exposure, all presented through games, activities, and enjoyable weekly homework.
The lessons are conducted in an individual, one-to-one format with one teacher and one student, allowing children to progress at their own pace and explore their interests. The private one-to-one approach ensures that children are not rushed to grasp a concept and can enjoy exploring the world of music and have a blast while doing it!
The curriculum is selected based on its ability to teach music theory basics while also telling engaging stories. For instance, while learning about the mouthpiece of the flute, students are encouraged to join Bianca the Bee in a quest to retrieve the stolen flute pieces from pesky ants.
10 levels, 10 books, 10 instruments
This comprehensive program covers a diverse range of 10 musical instruments in a series of 10 levels. As part of this exciting program, your child will venture through a series of 10 themed books with their teacher, where they will learn about a new instrument in each book. Each book is brimming with an array of learning activities, games, stickers, and more, and seamlessly divides the program into ten well-structured levels that progressively build upon the previous ones. Upon completing each level, your child will receive a special themed medal that features the color and animal character corresponding to that level. By the time your child graduates from this impressive program, they will be able to identify and understand basic music symbols, read and clap rhythms from quarter note to sixteenth note, and read three octaves of notes on the grand staff, in addition to learning about instruments such as the piano, guitar, drums, violin, cello, clarinet, saxophone, and more!

INSTRUMENTS
During each level of the program, students will learn about a new instrument, having the opportunity to listen to it, see it, touch it, and learn how it works! The instruments covered in the series includes:
PRIVATE LESSON PREPARATION
By the time students graduate from this program, they will be ready to begin private lessons in the instrument of their choice (as long as it is appropriate for their age). No matter what instruments they study going forward, they will have a tremendous head start and extremely strong foundation for the rest of their life! Students' minds are very easily molded at this age, and our goal is to instill critical music foundations, knowledge, and a lifelong appreciation of music.
SCHEDULE AND TUITION
Lessons are available in 30, 45, and 60-minute sessions and occur once each week. Tuition is $179/mo for 30-minute sessions (appropriate for most students), $268/mo for 45-minute sessions, and $358/mo for 60-minute sessions. Tuition includes all lesson materials, books, a tote bag and a beautiful, spinning medal upon passing each level. Recitals are also included for interested students. It takes most students approximately 60 weeks to complete the entire program and graduate to private instrument or vocal lessons. Animal Adventures in Music lessons are appropriate for students ages 3-6.
