General Information about our Student Recitals

Violin Lessons Monrovia

Participating at our recitals is free of charge for our students.

Students are allowed to perform by themselves (with or without a track), with other students together or in bands.
All of our weekly band program students are automatically registered for the concert.

Students will be performing in one of the two performing venues inside Boston Court Theater (Recital Hall and Band Hall).

Every student is welcome to perform. In case you are unsure if you or your child are ready to perform at the upcoming recital, please ask your teacher. Your teacher will be able to help you with this and make sure you are going to ready to perform on stage!

Of course many of our students feel a bit nervous mainly before their first performance. That is ok and absolutely normal. We always make sure that everyone is well prepared and ready to be on stage! Our goal is to create positive, encouraging and confidence building experiences for our students. We have lots of staff helping out on stage (and behind the stage) to help all performers through the entire process. You will see lots of high fives, encouraging words and support!
We are also having professional photographers in both venues to capture those precious moments of our students performing on stage.

Not only are there benefits for the performers. Every parent wants to know how their child is doing and if they are really progressing. The best way for a parent to understand if their investment in lessons is really worth it, is to have their child participate in one of our events.

Performances are optional, but so much fun! If you haven't participated in one of our recitals/concerts, we hope you will join us at this upcoming event!

It truly is a fantastic experience for the entire family
